BILLING NOTICE

As of December 1st, 2007, N2TheNet will go to paperless billing. Your invoices will come to your via email.

To help with the transition, here are a couple of forms that will assist you with automated billing. You will need a PDF reader to use these forms.

Three changes need to be made to your system in order to complete the transfer to the new dial-up number:

ENABLE SMTP AUTHENTICATION:

*If you use Webmail exclusively you do not need to make these changes*

1. Open your email client (Outlook Express is the most common client)
2. Click 'Tools' at the Top. If you do not see Tools hit the 'Alt' key on your keyboard.
3. Click 'Accounts'.
4. Click the Mail tab at the top of the Internet Accounts window.
5. Click the 'Properties' button on the right hand side of the box.
6. Click the 'Servers tab' at the top.
7. Change the account name to your full email address (ex. youraddress@tnaccess.com or youraddress@cookeville.com).
8. At the bottom of this page there should be a checkbox for 'My Server Requires Authentication'. Click this box to put a check in it.
9. Click 'Ok' at the bottom, then 'close' on the bottom of the Internet Accounts window.

 

CHANGE THE DIAL-UP PHONE NUMBER

WINDOWS XP/2000

1. Click Start.
2. Click Connect to (If you don't see this click on Control Panel, then on Network Connections. If you don't see network connections click Switch to Classic View on the left hand side.)
3. Click on your N2 the Net connection.
4. Change the phone number to 284-4231 if you are local to the Cookeville area. Change the phone number to 210-6004 if you are local to the Crossville area.
5. Put @tnaccess.com at the end of your user name. For example, if your username is joe, you should put joe@tnaccess.com in the username box. Use @tnaccess.com even if your email address does not end with tnaccess.com

WINDOWS VISTA 1. Click Start.
2. Click Connect to (If you don't see 'Connect to' then type ncpa.cpl in the box that is just above the Vista start circle and hit enter to bring up the network connections screen.)
3. Click on your N2 the Net connection.
4. Change the phone number to 284-4231 if you are local to the Cookeville area. Change the phone number to 210-6004 if you are local to the Crossville area.
5. Put @tnaccess.com at the end of your user name. For example, if your username is joe, you should put joe@tnaccess.com in the username box. Use @tnaccess.com even if your email address does not end with tnaccess.com

WINDOWS 95 & WINDOWS 98 1. Click My Computer.
2. Double click Dial-up Networking.
3. Right-click your N2 the Net connection and left click on Properties.
4. Change the phone number to 284-4231 if you are local to the Cookeville area. Change the phone number to 210-6004 if you are local to the Crossville area.
5. Click 'Server Types' at the top.
6. Click the 'TCP-IP Settings' button on the right.
7. Click on the circle to the left of 'Server assigned name server addresses'.
8. Click 'Ok' at the bottom of the window.
9. Click 'Ok' at the bottom of the next window.
10. Click the Start button.
11. Go to Settings and then click on Control Panel.
12. Double click Internet Options.
13. Click Connection at the top.
14. Click the Settings button (NOT LAN settings) on the right. 15. Put @tnaccess.com at the end of your user name. For example, if your username is joe, you should put joe@tnaccess.com in the username box. Use @tnaccess.com even if your email address does not end with tnaccess.com
16. Click 'Ok' at the bottom of the window.
17. Click 'Ok' at the bottom of the window.
WINDOWS ME (Millenium) 1. Click 'Start', then Settings then Control Panel. 2. Double click Dial-up Networking.
3. Right-click your N2 the Net connection and left click on Properties.
4. Change the phone number to 284-4231 if you are local to the Cookeville area. Change the phone number to 210-6004 if you are local to the Crossville area.
5. Click 'Networking' at the top.
6. Click the 'TCP-IP Settings' button on the right.
7. Click on the circle to the left of 'Server assigned name server addresses'.
8. Click 'Ok' at the bottom of the window.
9. Click 'Ok' at the bottom of the next window.
10. Click the Start button.
11. Go to Settings and then click on Control Panel.
12. Double click Internet Options.
13. Click Connection at the top.
